Elderly eye health – encouraging your parents to get their eyes checked
Just like physiotherapy and regular doctor appointments, elderly eye health is an important aspect to growing older. We know it can be difficult to encourage
Born and raised in Singleton, Adam Maher has always had a great connection to the Hunter region and its people. So, it comes as no surprise that in 2015, Adam and his partner Anna, decided to start their own optometry practice, designed to cater to the local community he grew up in.
Adam’s goal from the beginning has been to provide a service that was friendly and personable, rather than something that was overly clinical. That being said Adam and his team at The Eye Place don’t skip any of those important clinical steps. Certified in Optometry and Therapeutics, Adam ensures that each customer is being properly assessed and fitted with glasses that meet each individual customer’s optical requirements.
Every 45-minute consultation at The Eye Place includes a thorough assessment of your eyes, looking from front-to-back at your retinas and checking your eye and family history to make sure you leave seeing your best, feeling your best and looking your best.
Adam and the team will show you the latest frames and sunglasses on offer, give you all the appropriate information on what will work best for you and your optical needs, and provide constant support and help with all your enquiries along the way.
Drop by the store, book online here or call us on 6571 1121 if you want to learn more about our services. We hope to see you at The Eye Place soon.
